Hidden among the picturesque village of Chromonastiri, in the alleys of the village centre, you will find this original stone house from the Venetian period in Crete. It is a relic of a bygone era and has been carefully preserved and completely renovated.
Entering through the main entrance, an old wooden door, you enter a large hall that can also serve as an extra dining room. In the same area is an old well covered with glass and illuminated that still works!
When you enter the main building you will find the kitchen and bathroom. A staircase takes you to the first floor in the living room.
Upstairs the property consists of a large living room with fireplace, a small bedroom and a very large bedroom with beautiful high ceilings and windows overlooking the small streets of the village.

Chromonastiri is a traditional village located about 360 meters above sea level, at the foot of Mount Vrysinas. The village has preserved numerous buildings of Venetian architecture, which led to its characterization as a “preserved and traditional settlement of average cultural value”.
The most popular monumental building is Villa Clodio, located east of the village, which was used as a holiday home by the Venetian Clodio family. During the Turkish occupation, the palace was the home of the Turkish Aga, known as “konaki” (house in Turkish). Today, it has been restored and houses the Military Museum.
In the centre of the village you will find a traditional tavern, a cafe and a supermarket.
